You would probably not believe how hard to accomplish and how rare the classic American success story is. I'd estimate that for every 30 people who start with nothing, maybe only one makes it – yes maybe. My Grand-father was that one. He emigrated from Poland about 50 years ago, and since then he's been working endlessly to get his business start up going. His business never made it rich, but he definitely has arrived at a comfortable place in his life –a place where he could provide luxuries for his kids that he never had growing up. So when he found out that there was another, easier way to make money, he was pretty surprised. He was one of those people that only knew hard efforts before succeeding. Nothing came effortless. No random or luck just work, hard work.

He had a friend who offered to buy him business for quite a bit of money - more than he thought it was worth. When he asked him why, his friend was hesitant to tell him at first, but finally he told him the truth. Apparently, his business was to buy and sell business operations. He never run them, but he made a huge amount of money this way. When he first explained it to my Grand-father, he thought it was some kind of strange joke. This friend, to let you understand, had always had a special sense of humor. But he explained that the buy and sell business career is actually much more easier than he would think.

The business buy and sell trade is almost as old as the corporation itself, if not older. In summary, buying and selling businesses was helpful in the rise of the giant megacorporations that now dominate so much of world commerce. On the high end, investors get together and merge their resources to buy and sell business by acquiring major shares in the boards of directors of prominent corporations. That way, they can gain economic control and pick up the benefits of the work these businesses do, then sell them for a substantial profit. Small traders like my Grand-father's friend, nonetheless, can make some money too. It's all matter of being there at the right time for the right deal. To be that person, you need updated informations but also good intuitions.

In other terms, there're small businesses for sale every day. Perhaps they're family owned businesses and have to be quickly liquidated to raise capital for some type of emergency, or perhaps the owner has simply gotten sick of running the business and wants to retire. Whatever the case, a clever investor can buy and sell business operations and turn a substantial profit. Sometimes, you will have to rearrange the running of the business, invest in some marketing, or buy new equipment to make it more profitable. Just as often, tough, you won't change anything. If you know the right people, you can buy and sell business making 50% profit or more! Well that's all I have for you here I hope the information was of good use. Then tell me: buy and sell business, is that something for you?

more or less inspirational. In fact, so much of everything we do has gone to the Internet. Just take a moment to ponder that statement. What do you use your personal computer for each and every day? I know I use mine constantly. Yesterday I was working with my laptop in a MacDonald's waiting for my next rendez-vous. And today I type this article in a train to Normandy. ;o)

eBay is a gargantuan one. Then there's PayPal, which is also massive and worldwide. Folks take advantage of these successful internet businesses on a daily basis. I kick myself hourly for not coming up with PayPal. It's just a simply electronic funds transfer system. They move money from one place to another and consistently take three percent. That's smart, right? Can you imagine what they're making off of the entire planet? Then again, do you even really want to? It may tick me off further. However, you get the point. They're raking in the dough.

If you own a business, you know that good customer service is your key to long term success. You may have the best product or service on the planet, but if you don't provide good customer service, you won't be in business for long. Whether you own a large corporation, a small brick-and-mortar business or a web based business, you're competing with thousands or millions of other vendors. Your diligent attention to service can make the difference between success and failure. Here are five examples of good customer service that spell success for your business.

All of your customers are individuals. Even if that person is representing a corporation, that individual is looking for personal service. You may delegate customer service to staff members, depending on the size of your business or you may personally interface with your customers. In either case, your customer must feel that they're dealing with a person sensitive to their needs, rather than an automated email response or aggressive salesperson.

One example of good customer service that demonstrates personal attention: you sell widgets, as do many other businesses. A customer walks into your shop or visits your website. That customer needs just two widgets. Instead of ignoring that customer because you figure the profit is minimal, you court that customer and try to fulfill the request. That satisfied customer may know someone who's looking for a thousand widgets and recommend you.

Just think of it next time your receive such a small order to satisfy!

You never know what a customer query might net your bottom line. A prompt response to a query might make the difference between a profit or loss for your business. Queries offer you an opportunity to demonstrate examples of good customer service that pay you big time. That seemingly insignificant question on your product or service may just open the door to a big sale. You never know. That query may be made by someone who's in a hurry to purchase and is looking for a vendor that responds promptly.

Going the extra mile characterizes the business person with demonstrable examples of good customer service. Never regard a potential customer as an annoyance. You know everything about your business, but don't assume your customers do. Taking a few minutes to make your customer feel that you care about their particular situation often results in a sale.

Your potential customers are looking for solutions to their problem. Don't ever discount that. Whether it's you or your staff who's handling sales, emphasize the solutions you have to offer. After all, that's what you're selling. Solutions lead to sales.

Perhaps one of the best examples of good customer service is so subtle, but eminently effective. When a customer approaches you about your product or service, make it a priority to educate them. They may be vaguely aware that they need what you're selling, but don't know enough to justify a purchase. Educate them. You're the expert.

Practicing principles of good customer service does good things for your bottom line.
